Registration & Activation
Clicking on the 'Question' mark button on the top-right corner of the MediaRECOVER application window puts up a contextual menu with 3 Options :
If you have not registered for the application, on launching the application, the About Box along with the Enter Activation Code, Register Online and Order Now buttons are displayed.
Clicking on the Order Now button takes you to the web site, allowing you to place an order of the application.
Clicking on the Register Online button will put up the application registration window.
The user can enter the activation code in the UI that is put up on clicking the Enter Activation Code button.
Note : If the application is not registered,then the Save button in the Scan and Search windows remain disabled not allowing you to save the scanned and searched files respectively. Also at the end of scan process a nag screen prompting you to purchase a license is put up.
Product Registration
The Application can be registered online. User information is sent to MediaRECOVER site and the application will be registered with the data provided. And you can also get updates on MediaRECOVER application if you check the "I would like to receive information about Upgrades" check box.
To Register the user should have an Apple Mail account. If the user tries to Register without setting up his Apple Mail account, a warning message "Please configure the Apple Mail account to send the Registration Information" will be put up.
Product Activation
The full version of the product can be activated by entering the activation code provided on Ordering for the application.Once the product's full version is activated Save button in Search and Scan is enabled.
