How
do I completely destroy files?
1. Select Start -> Programs -> MediaWIPE -> MediaWIPE or click on
the MediaWIPE icon on your desktop.
2. Select delete a folder or delete files.
3. Click Add and select the folder or files that you would like to permanently
delete. Click Next.
4. Finally, click Next to confirm overwrite of folder or files.
There will be confirmation screens to ensure that you want to securely delete
the folder and files chosen. After these screens, the delete process will begin
and your files will be destroyed.
What

The Department of Defense standard is designed to stop hardware recovery tools,
matching the U.S. Department of Defense recommendations DoD (3 or 7 pass extended
character rotation wipe methods).
